Furballs & Featherbabies Pet Sitting Agreement
 
This agreement is made between Furballs & Featherbabies and __________________________ (“Client”) and shall apply to all future services unless altered in writing and signed by both parties.

Furballs & Featherbabies agrees to provide loving care to Client’s pet(s) for a set fee. All concerns related to the provision of pet sitting services by Furballs & Featherbabies should be reported to Melinda Patterson immediately.

Payment in full is due on (or prior to) the first day of service for vacation clients. For weekly clients payment is due on Friday of the week of services provided. Cash,checks,and paypal are acceptable methods of payment. Billing and payment inquiries should be directed to Melinda Patterson. Rates are posted at www.furballsandfeatherbabies.com and are subject to change without notice. A $20 fee will be charged for reservations cancelled with less than three days’ notice for vacation clients. A $10 cancellation fee with be charged on services cancelled day of. A daily $15 fee will be charged for all services provided on major holidays. Major holidays include Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Easter, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
    

 Initial consultation (meet & greet) is FREE.
     

One permanent key should be given to Furballs and Featherbabies during consultation or within a week of the first visit.
     Client authorizes Furballs & Featherbabies to obtain emergency veterinary care for their pet(s) in the event of a health emergency, as Furballs & Featherbabies deems necessary. Client authorizes Furballs & Featherbabies to incur veterinary costs in the name of the Client and agrees to hold Furballs & Featherbabies harmless from any liability arising from such veterinary charges, services, or transportation to/from veterinary office.
     

The insurance company of Furballs & Featherbabies shall be wholly liable for all claims of injury, death, damage or loss to Client’s pet(s) or property.
     Client agrees to release Furballs & Featherbabies and/or its representatives from any such claim and to be responsible for any claim of injury and/or death of Furballs & Featherbabies representatives caused by Client’s pet(s) and/or property.
     

Client agrees to reimburse Furballs & Featherbabies for up to $500 insurance deductible if a claim is made for injury/damage caused by any animal who the Client requests are allowed outside without supervision including, but not limited to, indoor/outdoor cats, dogs with invisible fences, and/or any animal who Client requests be walked/exercised off leash. Furballs and Featherbabies, its representatives, and its insurance company may not be liable for any claim of injury, death, damage, or loss to Client’s pet(s) or property if any third parties (including, but not limited to, Client’s friends, family members, and other third party contractors) are on the Client’s premises during any term of service by Furballs and Featherbabies, and/or if Client requests that Furballs & Featherbabies accesses their home using a “hidden” key.
     

All pets are to be currently vaccinated. Should the Furballs and Featherbabies representative be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client’s animal, it will be the client’s responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.
    

 We reserve the right to terminate this contract at any time before or during the term if Furballs and Featherbabies, in its sole discretion, determine that the client’s pet poses a danger to the health or safety of the Furballs and Featherbabies representative. If concerns prohibit pet sitter from caring for the pet, the client authorizes pet to be placed in a boarding facility with all charges there from to be charged to the client.
    

 To ensure the comfort and well-being of Client’s pet(s), Clients requesting Pet Sitting Visits while away for periods of 24 hours or greater must reserve a minimum of two visits per 24 hour period for dogs who are otherwise not able to use the bathroom (i.e., via a doggy door) and a minimum of ONE visit per day for all other species.
     Clients whose animals have been in the care of Furballs & Featherbabies while they are out of town must promptly notify Furballs & Featherbabies of their safe return to their animals via phone, email, or text message. Otherwise, if Furballs & Featherbabies is unable to confirm Client’s return within a reasonable amount of time after Client’s expected return, additional pet sitting services will be provided for which Client will be billed.
