TERMS OF SERVICE

THE FOR PAWS PURPOSE

The For Paws purpose is to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for your pets while you are away from home.  We can provide service in your home when you are out for the day or at the For Paws Philly home while you are away for a week.  Either way, our hope is to eliminate stress for your canine or feline and let you enjoy your time knowing that your friend is happy.

PAYMENT

We are currently only accepting credit cards to satisfy our invoices.  Before you can book services, we ask that you enter a credit card on your account.  We send out invoices every two weeks. You can pay the invoice upon reciept, or we will run your card on file after approximately 48 hours.

KEYS

We do not take keys into our possession. We ask that clients provide a lock box, concierge, or keyless entry code for access to their homes.

OVERNIGHT SERVICE IN OUR HOME

Dogs will be cared for as if they were our own.

As such, we will give your dog: love, care and attention.  However, overnight stays do not mean that Fido is supervised 24 hours a day. Dogs can be left alone for up to 8 hours.

Dogs are given access to designated areas of the home.

Behavior such as aggression, destruction, or excessive accidents may result in the use of a crate.

WHO IS WATCHING YOUR DOG

It is not possible for one person to be in all places at the same time.  There are several dog walkers and sitters that are used as independent contractors by For Paws Philly.  One of these walkers will be assigned to you.  Our independent contractors may be substituted in cases of illness, emergency, scheduled vacation and the like.  All walkers are briefed about clients’ particular needs and have access to care instructions. All independent contractors are covered under our insurance policy.

YOUR RESPONSIBIILITIES

!!!Cancellation and Schedule Change Policy!!!

If you’re pups or kitties are on a Regular Schedule we ask for a two week notice of ANY major or longterm schedule changes or cancellations.

Any other cancellations or schedule changes require 24 hours notice otherwise you will be charged for the 24 hours of services following cancellation.  All Major Holidays require one week's notice of cancellations otherwise you will be charged for one week of services following cancellation.

You will be billed for last minute cancellations!!!

FLEA AND TICK PREVENTATIVE

Your Dog must be on flea and tick preventative, year round this protects your pup and the others he comes in contact with in the city and at our facility.

ID TAGS

Your pooch is part of your family, so if he were ever to get loose from a collar or break from a leash, we ask that your precious pet is always supplied with a current ID tag with a phone number contact and we suggest getting him micro chipped.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF @ FPP

Pick up and drop off times are by appointment.  While we try to be as flexible as possible, if an appointment is missed we may need to reschedule the drop off/pick up of your pet.  We ask that if you are running late to please call and let us know.

Late pick up charges are billed in half day increments.

FOOD

For Overnight Care we ask that you provide more food than necessary for the duration of your dog’s visit.  If planes are delayed, or work trips are extended, we will have extra food for Buddy.  If circumstances arise that require us to provide food for your dog additional charges will apply.  If we have to purchase food at the store we will apply time and materials to the invoice.

We ask that all information be truthful to the best of your knowledge when telling us about the needs and behaviors of your pets.  The more we know the better we are suited to take care of your loved ones.  It will also prevent difficult, unexpected, and potentially dangerous situations from occurring in the future.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions we would love to hear them! We are a young and growing business and are always looking for ways to improve our services.

    Thank you!
