Certification shows the pet sitter takes caring for pets seriously and professionally, not as a hobby.  What is NAPPS Certification? The certification program is a broad-range and in-depth self-paced course covering all topics relevant to pet sitting, including pet care, health, nutrition and behavior for a variety of animals. It also includes business development and management, pet safety and a complete pet first aid course. To register for services, please review and thoroughly complete the following documents within PetSitClick.  All questions are required to have a response and entering NA if something is not applicable:

Upon receipt of the completed forms we will contact you to schedule a Registration Visit for pet sitting or a training consultation.  During visit we will come to your home to formally meet you and your pets, which provides opportunity for bonding and trust to begin.  We will also answer any questions you have and clarify anything requiring clarification on the forms.  The Pet Sitting Registration Visit typically lasts 30-45 minutes and a fee of $21.00 will be collected at the time of scheduling.  The Training Consultation typically  90 minutes and a fee of $95.00 will be collected at the time of scheduling.

Policies


 

Office Hours: Pet sitting services are available 24/7 year round.  All visit requests must be done through the Pet Sit Click System by logging into your account.  For emergencies, please all the business line if necessary.  General inquiries and phone calls will be returned within 48 hours. 


Cancellations: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC is committed to providing the BEST possible service to all our pet clients and pet parents.  We ensure our services are never less than the BEST by limiting the number of reservations we accept per day.  We appreciate your understanding of why we must enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances.  Cancellations requested in writing (email is fine) with at least 48 hours of scheduled services receive no penalty. No Credit or Refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours of the reserved service. GYWOPS reserves the right to make exceptions to this rule based on individual circumstances.  Reservations which include a holiday are not eligible for a Credit or Refund regardless of cancellation date.  In the unlikely event Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC must cancel any services due to sitter circumstances, GYWOPS will refund the pet parents money in full as well as assist the pet parent with finding alternate accommodations.  

  

Registration Visit: ($21.00 ) Upon receipt of the completed forms within PetSitClick, we will contact you to schedule the Registration Visit.  A Registration Visit provides a formal meeting for GYWOPS to best evaluate the pet client and situation to assign the most appropriate sitter to the client.  We will answer questions, confirm mode of pet access, and discuss all pet care needs.  Once the Registration Meeting is complete, you are PART OF THE FAMILY!!!  


Reservations: We focus on providing the BEST quality of pet related services.  In order to maintain the exemplary care we strive to provide, we accept only a limited number of daily reservations.  All reservations requests should be submitted to GYWOPS via your Customer Login Portal which, will be provided to you at the time of the Registration Visit. Emergency / Same Day requests should be made by calling the office at 302-604-8573. There is a $10.00 rush fee for visits requested after 6:30 pm for next day requests.  

 

Confirmations: Confirmations will be received as a pre-invoice from the PetSitClick email address.

 

Payment: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC accepts credit card only.   All clients are required to keep a current Credit Card in your account to cover unpaid balances, purchases for care of pets (food, veterinary care, grooming, etc.).  

 

Keys: The location of your hidden key or key lock box is required to be accessible to GYWOPS for the purpose of pet care access.  Due to the possibility of power outages and mechanical failures, if a garage door code is provided for entry we will also need a spare key to keep on hand.  In the event the pet parent does not provide key access, the pet parent cannot hold Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC responsible in the event the sitter is not able to enter the home to provide pet services.  In any event the sitter is not able to access entry to the home / premises the pet parent remains liable to pay GYWOPS in full for the entire reservation.  

 

Visit Times: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC makes every attempt to be punctual with the time of every reservation. We allot a 30 minute window of time prior to and after your scheduled reservation time in which for your service to be initiated. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances (ie. inclement weather, traffic, previous pet client delay, etc.), we ill initiate the reserved service as soon as possible.  Your pet's reservation will never be cut short due to sitter’s arrival time.  Our visit windows may be larger during the summer months due to increased traffic and scheduling. 

 

Last Minute Changes:  Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC understands that plans change, for a variety of reasons, some of which are out of the pet parent’s control.  GYWOPS makes every attempt to work with our clients when this occurs, but strictly adheres to our policies, including our Cancellation Policies.  When a pet parent makes a reservation for a date and time, the particular date and time is no longer available to others and such reservation requests are declined.  GYWOPS does not issue refunds or credits for early returns or changes to pet reservations that are in process.  In the event a pet parent did not pay for the reservation in advance he/she is still liable to pay for the entire reservation in full no later than 5 days of the early return and/or change.  It is important for GYWOPS to enforce this policy, since we accept only a limited number of daily reservations for the benefit of our clients.

 

Holiday Reservations: Services performed on holidays will incur additional charges.  All Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Easter, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Labor Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend and July 4th Weekend are billed at the standard rate, plus $10.00.   PJ Parties In-Home of client on on all holidays are billed at standard rate, plus $30.00.  

 

Additional Pet Care Assistance and Other Scheduled Services: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC does not accept liability for other persons who will be in your home prior to, during, or immediately after our services have been rendered. Please inform us at the time of the Registration Visit of anyone who may have access to your home while you are away. This includes cleaning services, maintenance personnel, friends, family and neighbors.  Please inform anyone with access to your home that Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC services have been engaged.  To ensure consistency and quality of care, GYWOPS does not share pet sitting responsibilities with any other provider, including neighbors and/or family.

 

 

Inclement Weather: Pet parents will entrust Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC to use their best judgment in caring for your pet(s) and home at the time of inclement weather.  Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will try to carry out your instructions to the best Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC ability.  Pet parent selection of a nearby emergency contact has been requested.  Inclement Weather Plan: 1) Every effort will be made to drive to your home; 2) The service schedule may be interrupted or altered due to circumstances; 3) We will attempt to notify you if it is not possible for us to drive safely to your home; 4) We will notify your emergency contact if you cannot be reached or if it is known you are not within the area of your home. 5) Leisure doggie walks will not be conducted during inclement weather for the safety and comfort of the pet client and service provider: Rain or Storms of any kind as well as extreme temperatures.

 

Inclement Weather Contact: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC has requested the name and telephone number of a person with access to your home and lives nearby.  This should be a person close enough to walk to your home if roads are impassable.  If we are physically unable to drive to your home this information is needed so that we can contact this person to request their assistance to check on your pet(s).  Please remember that garage door openers are not operational in the event of power outages.  In the event that a pet parent does not provide a nearby emergency contact with access to their home the pet parent realizes Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will provide service but not until conditions are safe and allow us to reach your home safely.

 

Pet Guardianship: In the unfortunate event you become incapacitated while your pet(s) are in our care, please name the person(s) who should be contacted to become the guardian and take over the care of your pet(s) until care can be provided as arranged for in other legal documents prepared by you.  We urge you to address care of your pet(s) when planning your estate.  Please be sure the named person(s) is/are aware you are appointing them as guardian(s) of your pet(s).  In the event of an emergency which incapacitates me, I authorize Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC to turn my pet(s) over to the individual named on the Pet Form in PetSitClick.

 

Aggressive / Dangerous Pet(s):  Should any pet(s) become aggressive or dangerous, the Sitter may: 1) Arrange with the pet’s guardian to assume responsibility for the pet(s) until the pet parent returns. 2) Place the pet(s) in a kennel or animal care facility at the pet parent’s expense if the guardian is unable or unwilling to assume responsibility for the pet(s). In either event as described in 1 or 2 above, the pet parent is not entitled to a refund or a credit.

 

Medication / Vaccinations / Immunizations: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will attempt to administer medications as directed, but in the event the pet(s) is not cooperative, GYWOPS will notify the pet parent. Medications are required to be clearly marked with the drug name and as prescribed by a licensed veterinarian, containing the pet(s) name and dosing instructions.  Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC is released from all liability related to administering of medications to pet(s).

 

Transportation: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC is released from all liability related to transporting pet(s).

 

Unforeseen Purchases: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will purchase pet food, litter, cleaning supplies or other necessary items that contribute to the health and well-being of your pet(s) while you are absent.  We will retain a receipt and the pet parent is responsible for reimbursement of the purchased items, in the event the credit card on file is declined for any reason.  In addition, a $25 trip fee will be applied for our Team Member’s time and travel.  The charge and reimbursement is due no later than 5 days after the last day of the applicable reservation.

 

 

Pet Waste: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will properly dispose of pet waste at the location of your direction.  We provides the waste bags and only asks that you indicate the proper location for disposal of the waste bags.  Waste clean-up is limited to that which occurs during GYWOPS time of hired services. Additional yard clean-up is available for purchase.

 

Collars / Leashes: Please provide secure, properly fit collars for your pets.  For the safety and health of ALL dogs a harness is recommended over a collar.  Should the collar, harness or leash you provide not be acceptable to proper restrain of your pet(s), we will ask that you purchase a more effective restraint immediately.  This is for the safety of both your pet(s) and our Team Members.

 

Liability: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC agrees to provide the hired services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner.  In consideration of all services and as an express condition thereof, the pet parent expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claim against Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC, it owners and Team Members, except those arising from proven negligence of the attending Team Member.  The pet parent agrees to being responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the attending Team Member or other persons by the pet(s).  The pet parent agrees to indemnify and hold harmless, Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC in the event of a claim by another person injured by the pet.  Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will not be liable for the injury, disappearance, death, or fines of any pet with unsupervised access to the indoors and /or outdoors. Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will not be responsible for any damages to the client's property, or that of others, caused by the pet parent's pet(s) during the period in which the pet is in care of Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC. 

 

  

Termination of Services: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC and the pet parent reserve the right to terminate service agreement at any time, at their sole discretion and with the understanding the terms of the cancellation policy remain applicable.  This current agreement for services remains effective / valid for present and all future services until otherwise terminated in writing by either Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC or the Pet Parent.

 

 

Household Emergencies: Please provide the name and number of a trusted maintenance company or a person you can rely on to attend to any household emergencies that may arise during your absence.  This includes but is not limited to: leaking, pipes, malfunctioning water heaters and heating and air condition units. Please, specify the company you want GYWOPS should contact in the event of an emergency in your customer information page in PetSitClick.

 

Updates: It is the pet parent’s responsibility to provide Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC with any changes regarding your contact numbers, your pet(s) needs, credit cards or other pertinent information.

 

Privacy Policy: All of your information will be kept private and confidential.  Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC highly respects our clients entrusting us with the care of their home and their loving pet(s).  You are important to us and we are honored to be the Certified, Professional Pet Service Provider for your family!

 

Pet Photos: Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC will oftentimes feature our pet clients in our website’s photo gallery or advertising materials.  In the event you do not wish for your pet(s) photo to be featured, please inform us through email.

 

Pet Accidents: Accidents happen and Team Dolly does their best to clean up all pet waste accidents, using only the products made available by the Pet Parent.  A fee will not be charged for minor clean ups.  Depending on the severity of accident and time taken to clean up a charge of $5.00 may be applied if clean up requires more than 10-15 minutes beyond the visit time. The charge is applied to compensate for the additional visit time and services provided by the sitter.. 

 

I understand and agree to the Policies of Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC as stated above.  I further understand that the original of this form will be kept on file for documentary purposes and I have obtained a copy if desired.  Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC Policies are subject to change as warranted by Get Your Wag On Pet Services, LLC and in such event I will be informed in writing.

 

My initials confirms the day and time I reviewed and agree to the Policies and have no remaining questions.
